I know; I expected to pay maybe $500 below MSRP. I spoke with a few dealers in Orange County and they were pretty unhappy when they heard the price I got. The dealer did try to add $1400 in additional warranty coverage (3rd party) but thanks to Prius Chat I will probably go with what is on offer here...
Wow, man. Great deal! I too recently got a great deal, on my used 2007 (got it from a Toyota dealer for considerably below retail Blue Book). :high5:
I went online to the Costco Auto Program and was referred to Springfield Toyota. When I called and talked to the referenced salesman, he told me that 1) it's probably about a 6 month wait for what I was looking for - Prius IV with Solar, 2) I'd have to come in in person to find out what the discount would be, and 3) The $500 deposit that I would need to place is non-refundable. This is the ONLY dealer who's told me the deposit is non-fundable. That was a dealbreaker.
quoted 25970.00 for a 2010 Blizzard Pearl pkg 3 with Nav. dealer will also take 250.00 of the quoted MSRP price. Good Deal or should I hold out.... Thanks, Maggs
Assassin I PM'd you the store and sales rep's name. I don't really know why I got the price and it does not really matter if someone does not believe me...just sharing info with ppl. I've seen a few ppl here get prices close to mine..maybe off by $500 or so.

I think I posted this in another thread, but I paid $22,250 for a II with mats. I got it from Dianne. She is awesome! Super nice, super easy to work with, no car dealer BS. After doing some test drives at various lots around LA I was so tired of sales people I didn't even want to buy a car...buying from her was like buying a car from a friend...highly recommened. Thanks Dianne! The finance guy....um...forgot his first name, lets call him Mr. Pak was super nice as well! My only problem was the dealership is owned by John Elway and I'm from Cleveland...haha...
In Roanoke, the dealer is adding a $2,000 "market value price adjustment". We got them to drop that and add undercoating for free. No other break on MSRP. It's just too hot a commodity. Regards, Phil
I believe you, I got my 2009 Prius from the same dealer for a great price. They seem to have the largest inventory in San Diego. The only difference is they told me they did not have an "internet sales manager" the price was right so I did not argue the point. Their finance guy was so pushy and insulting that I almost walked out. Lucky for them my wife wanted to "stick it out" or I would have walked out.

You post from or near Seattle, are you sure that your sales is only 8.9%? I saved 9.5%. To check, plug in you 9 digit zip code to the Department of Revenue page here. This may 'boost' your savings.
The undercoating was "free" courtesy of Toyota, factory installed. No other undercoating is required or advisable. Good you didn't pay for it!
