So I picked up my 2010 Prius Package 4 with Navi back in June 2009. Before I went on vacation I ordered a set of JDM window visors from a shop online and i finally got around to installing them today. Here are some pictures:
Where did you order these? I googled the JDM company and could mostly find products for Honda and Integra, and none for Toyota.
Sigma Automotive has them for $145 Toyota Prius 2010+ ZVW30 Exterior Accessories :: Sigma Automotive If youre on ebay, visit the JZS International ebay store, from what i remember they also have an online store also. eBay Store - Combine Ship OK Japan to WorldWide: JUNCTION PRODUCE, GS300 400 430, ARISTO, VIP Curtain Shift Tables
Thanks. Minimal wind noise, of course this depends on how fast you drive. They were easy to install, they come with 3M backed tape/adhesive and attach to clips you insert on your window lining. Each piece has 2 clips to attach to.
Pricey! Would be better to make friends with a soldier stationed in Okinawa. They get the parts cheeper, get it shipped home via USPS for dirt cheap and the profit goes to one of our own GIs. I did this when I had a Miata. Car looks good BTW, I was thinking of doing the same. If you open the window a crack, will it extract air without causing a tornado in your car or making much noise? I like to smoke in my car and need to let it out sometime.
I just ordered them... a must have in Florida if you didn't get the SOLAR roof and want your car to stay cool when you park it at the mall.
keep in mind the sigma is on the outside of the window and weathertech is INSIDE the window channel after doing a bit of research the best price difference i see is about $34 I have had both inside channel and outside (now on my highlander) and will never use inside channel again due to wind noise problems. In any case i highly recommend visors if you live in a hot sunny climate. Cracking the windows when you park makes a noticeable difference.
