So as an update I finally brought the fronts up to 42 and the rears to 40. I went for a long easy drive not going over 50. The sound is still there as clear as it was but I the car seems to be working otherwise so I am willing to say it really is just the tires and try to ignore it from now on....

Good to hear it's all resolved. If you got the crappy goodyear integrity's as your stockers ... switch to Michelins once they quickly wear out. I can't believe how short the integrities lasted.
ps, how does your dad like paying that whopping $800/month for the mini lease ... kinda steep for such a tiny car maybe? Still ... I wish I had the scratch to have gotten on the short list. I'm wondering if they'll all be crushed at the end of the lease, like the EV1's were.

I dont really think the price is an issue for him..........
He also tested the Think! for a few years when that pilot program was going on. The power company was teamed up with the long island rail road to give price breaks for energy. They were able to convert that power source for the mini.

I have to admit though, that car is fast! but it is rough over bumps.

As far as when the lease is up, I dont think it will matter much. Some people just like trying the latest. Some people like the idea of doing something that does not destroy the enviorment, though, I never really understood that thinking with electric cars because they are still burning (rather dirty) coal to make that energy. Eh
