The last time I tried to buy a Prius, I gave up after five months of waiting.

Dianne had the exact car I wanted, and discounted below MSRP to cover my airfare from home in San Francisco.

It was great fun driving home from the car purchase using Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist features. Being tired from flying for almost eighteen hours the previous day, those features kept me in my lane and a safe distance from cars around me for the six hour drive home..

Dianne offered the exact car I wanted at a more than fair price.

 

Thanks Dianne Whitmire! We drove up from San Diego to Dianne's Manhattan Beach Toyota and she stayed until midnight to help us with our purchase. We left San Diego at 7 p.m., arrived at 9 p.m. and then got back to San Diego with our new Prius at 2 a.m. (No more clunker, yay!)

Dianne went above and beyond to help us with our purchase. She quickly replied to my e-mail and we jumped in the car to seal the deal. She's very kind, honest, and sells more Prius than anyone else as far as I can tell!! Thanks Dianne!

 

I am envious of everyone's experience on this thread. I was actually in Manhattan Beach for the last two weeks working and wish I had stopped by, unfortunately for my Prius shopping experience I live in North Carolina. I was willing to buy a Prius today, however, I had a terrible experience at Toyota of Lake Norman. They had the Prius III, with the features I liked. It was perfect, but for some reason, the sales person didn't treat me like a legit buyer. I look very young, but I'm able to pay cash for the car. For some reason, the sales person didn't buy it, told me he didn't think I was serious buyer.

Oh well. He will miss out of my Dad's business, too, who also trying to buy a Prius simultaneously. I'm a newbie to the forum, but hoping to find a dealer that I can rave about here in my home state. Glad to see others having a much better experience. Good job Diane!

I'm not complaining... thanks for all your help! It's funny, because it was my first time buying a car, so I just assumed it always took that long. Crazy with the computers!

 

Some dealers call it "stone," which is confusing as hell. Charcoal is a much better term as some people think Dark Gray isn't as dark as it should be.
