    Hey everyone!

I need pictures of the LED headlights cutoffs.
If anybody is willing to find a nice wall to take a couple pictures for me i'd much appreciate it.

I'm looking to see nice pictures of the width, cut off, intensity and overall light distribution of the headlights. I've searched the forum already and couldn't find proper pictures.

Also i'd like a mini review from the owners experience with them. How do they compare to HIDs (if you've owned some)? are you satisfied with the LED's? etc. etc.

If you have any questions about or misunderstandings about what i'm asking feel free. Thanks!

i came across those and i cant really make out all the detail i wanted.
only if the pics were taken someplace dark i'd be satisfied. lol

plus the other prius is obscuring the full effect of the led's.

    thanks though!

    Why not?
What's wrong with posting nonsense, hey? I have about 8000 posts of nonsense.

That''s what Fred's is for, go build up your post count in there on one of the games, it can even be fun!

Some were on topic and mildly informative.
Well maybe not 213 but some, I was only saying about that many.

I just sold my '05 with HIDs and replaced it with a '10 V. I'm disappointed with the LED headlights. They are comparable to the HIDs in brightness but don't project out nearly as far.

Sorry, but I'm unable to provide photos.

I've spoken to the dealer and he states that the lamps are not adjustable. The Toyota factory rep confirms the dealers' statement.

Another issue I have is the difference in color between the low beams and the high beams. The LED output is white and the brights are yellow. I've ordered new high beam bulbs, as suggested in another thread, that are reported to be whiter and brighter.

I'd disagree - there is a base height adjustment. However - if the service techs have confirmed that they're aligned to spec (level car hitting the marks), there's no further adjustment "allowed".

I'm providing the following excerpt from an email from a Toyota company service rep

"Hello xxxx, what the dealer is telling you is correct, the headlamps on your Prius use the same type of leveling system as other gens and are not adjustable..........."

If you have anything factual from a service manual or other primary source that I can use to prove he is wrong, I'd appreciate your providing it to me so I can forward it to him.

    Thanks!
