Official 2010 Prius Owners Pics

Just had mine done today.
LLumar ATR30 charcoal on the front sides - qtr windows too.
LLumar ATR15 charcoal on the back sides, small corners, and hatch.

All legal in Florida.

It's a dyed metal impregnated. Lifetime warranty incl color change. Have a couple friends who have this type and a good reference for the place that installed. Took them almost 2 hours by a detailer that has 8 years exp doing this. He let me watch him while he did a few windows. Very intricate. Asked if I wanted the top 6" of the windshield done - I passed but could go back any time.

OK.... price. They had a summer special going. $119.00 It turned out great.... Will take some pics tomorrow.

Thanks, it turned out I was looking at the wrong pictures. Looks like only two sensors though. My current car has four.

Pimped My Ride....

Yesterday, had tint installed on sides and back. Llumar charcoal 30 & 15. Perfect, legal limit in FL, $120.

Today, I put on pin stripes. 1/16" X 2, black. Along the side crease. Very subtle, accents the crease and tends to visually break the side height. Tough to capture in pictures, but turned out really nice.

And I installed left side blind spot mirror and one on the rear view mirror. I had on my RX and found them invaluable. With slight glances, covers the left & right blind spots really well.

Plan to install side amber LED lights to flash with the turn signals. And bought a low-note horn to get bass into the standard Roadrunner 'beep-beep'. And eventually a rear view camera system (no Nav). BTW all items purchased at Pep Boys, a nationwide chain (most states) auto store.

 

Very Nice! I just got mine in red this week and now I know what it will look like with tint. Does anyone know if trying to remove the tint from the back window will damage the defroster lines? I am on the fence as to whether I should do it or not in case I ever need to replace or remove it later.

Here's mine. Canadian Premium Package, picked up today in North Vancouver, BC! I took a short video of the backup camera in the rearview mirror too...

 

Naa, just be careful not to harm the lines when you remove the tint.

 

Here are some more photos of my Winter Gray III w/ dark gray interior and nav (a combo I haven't seen to many photos of yet on PriusChat). I tried to get some that showed some paint detail, what the blue badge looks like, and what the interior gray looks like. Note that these pictures are slightly color corrected to add a touch of gold, and taken late in the afternoon with a steep sun angle.

 

That's what I ordered. Its at the port and should be delivered this week. I will take pictures when I get it.

 

You are in the minority with winter grey. How do you like the color so far? I've seen it in person and think it looks pretty sharp.

 

I like it a lot. Perhaps a teeeeeenie bit darker than perfection. It's not as metallic/sparkly as the dark gray Gen2 Prius. It looks nearly black at night, but unlike the black Gen3 it shows the cars definitive lines better.

 

I should be taking some pics of my new Blue Ribbon Metallic Prius IV with Navigation on Sunday 6/21. Trying to location scout for a cool background. Going to make some wallpaper quality images for you all.

 

Ok I'm not sure if I'm attaching images correctly or not but anywho . . .

As of this last Wednesday we are proud owners of a BP V, light gray interior, Nav but no AT. We really love it.

We like the tinting we've seen from several other owner pictures and we will be looking into that. I think it will help out in the summer heat and save on the interior a bit. In addition I like idea of changing out the parking lights and the fog lights to match the led headlight color a bit more. Also will be snagging a set of all-weather mats too for those fantastically sloppy winter months of Minnesota.

Enough rambling. Several shots in the link of BP already so I tried to get some more unique shots. Yep that's my bike in there.

first post, i have been lurking for several months in anticipation of the 2010. we finally got ours yesterday 6/20/09.

2010 Pkg III with solor option
classic silver with dark grey cloth

thankfully it was fresh off the truck and the dealer had no time to load it with dealer options. we still had to pay msrp but they were generous on our trade in, so it was a wash.
