POLL ABOVE What is your #1 exterior COLOR CHOICE for your 2010 Prius: CHECK ANSWER SELECTION ABOVE (UNDECIDED, YOU MAY MAKE MULTIPLE SELECTIONS)
Great poll. I picked winter grey but with the help of my friensd here, changed my mind to blue metallic and very happy I did. Kind of like ordering vanilla ice cream and changing your mind to spumoni to live dangerously
$220 is well worth Blizzard Pearl. Have you seen it in person? It's a 3 coat paint process vs. 2 w/ the others. It's a creamy white with a metallic layer and a peralized clear coat layer. It is a rather popular type of color w/ many manufacturers where I'm at though.
From the day it was announced, Blizzard Pearl. It is a much nicer pearl than other manufacturers in that imo it is whiter and has less of that yellow off white effect to it. And the $220 extra is peanuts for a pearl coat compared to other manufacturers.
+1 on Blizzard Pearl comments, but voted for my sandy beach, since I couldn't stomach the thought of owning 2 white cars. Have not been thrilled with the color choices on HyCam or on 2010 Prius.
Rick, You're tantalizing me with the Blizzard White. I currently have a Lexus RX; Pearl White. It has the Platinum molding all along the lower area. I love it because it not only looks good in this two-tone color imo, but is so darn easy to keep clean. Just doesn't show the dust, light dirt,or swirl marks. And in a sunny climate as FL, not much of a solar-catcher. But from pics of the '10 Prius, Barcelona Red is striking my fancy as #1. And I do favor bisque interior, although the Prius is a lighter shade than my ideal. But - I sure will consider Blizzard as well.
Cool, one less person that'll have the same as me. Really though, like Pat said, you wouldn't get a color you would have ratherd have because of $220? They are charging very little for their pearl white, compare other companies.
Having had and currently owning, Pearl white and other shades, I just don't like being charged triple to fix paint damage for that process.
I can't recall my insurance company ever asking what colour the car is prior to quoting the cost of cover.
It's interesting to compare the results of this early poll (what colors people like) to what people have actually bought in the current poll. http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...m/63423-poll-what-2010-prius-do-you-have.html The results are completely different.
Just like how I chose Black as my colour on this poll, but now wish I could change my answer to Blue Ribbon since that's what I ended up with! I'm in love with my colour, so no regrets.
