    Hey guys,
I'm just wondering if any of you 2g to 3g guys can tell me if the new hood and trunk badge is the same size on the new prius as it is on the old.
I really like the new blue badge and if it would fit, I'd like to put it on the front and rear of my 06.

    Thanks.

Without checking, but seeing past efforts to debadge, I'm going to say no as the 2010 badge is flat and backed w/ plastic. The G2 badge conforms to the body at the hood point and shows the paint beneath.

Well, sort of... A small extension of this thought might be beneficial.

On the Gen II Circle-T badges on hood and lift gate, the body panels are
constructed such that the badge sits against a flat oval that is raised
above the adjacent curved metal. The flat badge does conform to the
body panel where it attaches. But the glaring raised oval sure doesn't.

Should you remove the badge, it is very obvious that something is
missing... to say nothing about the two gaping badge alignment holes
    which are then visible.
