What tires did you get on your 2010?

Ah, good question! I have ALWAYS had fantastic experiences with Firestone and Bridgestone tires. I would not have a car without one of those brands on it. When my Prius showed up with the Yokos, I had to make a change. The tires had 8 miles on them when I made the switch. I actually put Ecopia 100's on because that is all the Firestone store had on hand.... Living in Detroit, they will only be good until about November or so.... I guess I'll either put some Blizzaks on for the winter, or buy yet another set of EP20's. (Maybe I'll have a used set of EP100's for sale later this year, LOL!!).

As for the Yokos, probably fine for most folks, I just would not have a car without my Stones!

Ouch! 260? I thought 300 was a low number for my Toyos.

I thought the Bridgestones would have better tire wear.

    The 17" Toyos on my V - 300 A A.

Really wanted Michelin... but. The Toyos seem to have a bit more road noise than I would have thought/liked. How about you other 17" owners? Happy with your tires - esp the road noise...
I'm keeping them all at 43lbs - were 33 from the dealer when picked up.

I also have the Toyos. I was pleased I got the Toyos over the Michelins, because I have seen fairly "iffy" reviews on the Pilots.

I don't know that the road noise is an issue. It seems lower to me than my '07 with the OEM tires, and I haven't been in a 2010 Prius V with other tires.

I was running them at 43/42, but I just bumped them up on Monday to 46/45. I don't really notice any change in driving response or noise, and it is a bit early to notice whether there is any mileage change. I will say, though, that the car handled EXTREMELY well last night when I drove through a driving rain storm. Huge amounts of water on the road, wipers at high speed just to be able to see, and VERY strong cross winds. The car held the road so well I was surprised. It is the kind of whether that would make me a bit nervous while driving my '07.

Thanks much for the feedback, makes me feel better. The road noise - mainly on rough / scarred asphalt. I recall seeing a couple '10 Prius reviews before release that stated road noise was still an issue (from G2). After a drive yesterday focusing more on the sounds, I think it may not necessarily be all tire noise, but transmission of it through the body and suspension inside the car - perhaps needing more insulation too.
By no means is it irritating or "bad", just an enhancement that could be made.

I too went thru some rainstorms and wind driving home from the dealer after picking up the car (190 miles). It held very well and did notice some crosswind movement - but was aware of that from G2 info from other owners. I saw on the weather that you got dumped on yesterday - I'm originally from Chicago SW (born/raised).

For what it's worth, the Toyos are very good looking tires...

Yep. Pretty intense storms at times, with lightning, thunder, wild winds, torrential rains and tornados. Gotta love the Midwest!

I think the tire may be worth it just for having the raised "rim guard" to protect the wheels. Very nice little feature.
