Optimum Cruise Speed with Cruise Control engaged

    OP here,

    Thanks all for the multitude of comments on the issue of optimum speed on the level with Cruise Control engaged.

    Seems as though the consensus opinion is to let the CC target the chosen speed for the prevailing traffic conditions. Any benefits that the pulse and glide routine confers, with respect to MPG maximization, even when using CC to do this, are minimal.
