did you have the lower rear glass tinted also?

 

No they didn't add any tint to the lower section of glass.

Yes that is the view. The tint seems to cut down some of the glare from the outside but doesn't affect the outward view. Between the Tint, Solar, and the sunshade arriving today this should help control the interior temperature pretty well

 

I just returned from a trip through Wisconsin and up to the Twin Cities (from Chicagoland!). I met an interesting character in St. Paul, and our cars seemed to hit it off:



On the way back, I posed my Prius, complete with 1,000 miles of bugs on the bumper, in front of some natural elements in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. The sun finally came out as I neared home, so I took a couple of pics of the Prius with a backdrop of blue sky and white windmills.

Thanks! I have mixed feelings when I see only the skeleton of a barn remaining. You can tell they really knew how to build post-and-beam, and it is great to admire that, but sad to know it will come down. On the other hand, when you see only the skeleton, you know someone has salvaged the siding and reused it!

 

So, was the St Paul 1701-A Prius driver another member of priuschat?
Did you leave a note on the windshield?

I was pretty impressed with my good fortune at finding sun at the same time the windmills stopped turning!

 

So, will you both be expecting a light silvery-blue little IV in about 9 months? Or hoping for twins? Congratulations!

That experience was great!

Getting to explore the new features in each of the 2010 packages like that was a memorable event. Too bad my haste to get there let me with my cameras. Oh well. The rain made it a pain anyway.

Meeting owners, especially the well informed like the other night , can be really fun. On the way home yesterday though... I was beside myself. There was my 2004 in the parking lot. Seeing that and realizing I may have just walked by the new owner left me scratching my head. There's a meeting no one could ever be prepared for. I wonder if I'll ever have an encounter again. My 2001 disappeared into the unknown...
