2010 in stock in New England

Hello,

My wife is waiting for a IV or V w/or without nav & roof in white. The dealer has already delivered one 2010 (a II I believe) and has a blue V w/o packages on the way. The dealer in Portland/Westbrook apparently has a grey II demo which we may go check out next week. (We have yet to lay eyes on a 2010, though I feel pretty familiar, having lurked here for awhile - thanks everybody.)

My ride's an '09 Jetta TDI wagon, which took a few months (and a couple of compromises - color, transmission) to get last Fall. My commute is 60 miles one way per day, 90% highway, and it's served me well so far, getting a pretty consistent 42 mpg on diesel which has (finally!) fallen below regular gas in price. Had the 3rd gen Prius been available, I suspect I'd have been as happy with it. Now we'll have both!

 

Well Jon, I don't know what to say. it sounds too good to be true. The doc fees are charged by every dealer I have ever dealt with.
If you got your car for $300 over invoice with no doc fees congrats! Do you have any paperwork you can post about it? I posted mine. You can blot out the dealers name and your personal info. I'd like to see the P&S if you wouldn't mind posting it.

Well, having apparently chosen the wrong forum in which to introduce myself, may I barge into this hijacked and, if I may add, rather pointless discussion, to say that our dealer here in Maine does not charge document fees (the first we've ever encountered, here or elsewhere) - nor any other kind of extraneous "gotchas." Nevertheless, I find jon5506's claims (not to mention his spelling & punctuation) less than credible.
