At first, this looks like a typical comparison with columns of data, but when you scroll down, you'll notice that they also make visual comparisons (ie, pictures) of corresponding parts such as tires, cargo space, driver-side door, etc . . . Compare Cars | Hybrid Cars (Prius/Fusion/Insight) Compare Cars | Hybrid Cars (Escape/Highlander/Vue)
Biased! For the Insight, they listed the base price yet they show the pictures for the EX model with Navi! That's the fully loaded model with alloy wheels, etc..!
Individual pics of sunroof and navigattion systems are scrolled further down the display where "no photo available" is listed for Prius... This is nit picking but when comparisons are made they should be apples and apples. One might assume that since pics follow some and not others... Oh well just sensitive a little after reading the VW TDI / Prius comparison discussion...
Very nice, thanks. Now that's what I call Build Your Car - can I get the Prius with the Insight headlights and front seat cupholders (only 1 in the Prius, not good).
Where? Obviously not a show-stopper but DW and I are used to having 2 cup holders between the front seats.
You have to do a little 'scaling' work because there is no standard ruler in the photos. But I was able to do this: I'd once written that the rear of a Honda Insight looks like a homeless, cardboard box. By scaling the photos to make the trunk objects the same size, you can really see the difference. Bob Wilson
Nice! Clearly, from Compare Cars | Hybrid Cars you can see that Toyota's attention to detail is so much more than Honda's. It seems like Honda just put random pieces and parts together and called it an Insight, whereas Toyota actually made sure that everything fits seemlessly.
Is there any way Toyota will make the Rav 4 a hybrid? I want a smaller SUV that is made by Toyota and I want it now!
