Picking up my Car TODAY in New Hampshire!

    Just got a call from the dealership. My car apparently got their last night! :whoo:
    So this afternoon after the car is prepped, I will be picking it up! This must mean that cars in Mass and NH are being delivered today and tomorrow.
    Great News!
    They are putting in the custom door locking settings so that should be done when I pick it up.
    Too bad I can't get out of work early today!
    I think this is the first 2010 to be sold in New Hampshire! :rockon:
    I will post pics as soon as I get back.

    Gotta wait til after work! Plus my wife is working and she is on the paperwork as well. Too bad the guy I was dealing with has his day off today so we will be dealing with his son instead.
    But I still get my car today!
    Lots of pics of us picking it up. My wife won't be home until 4:30pm.
    Argh! the waiting is killing me!

    Have not heard anything yet from my dealer yet but I did stop by the Acton dealership last night where they had a Barcelona Red III w/sunroof. Of course, I could not see it very well in the dark but it still looked great!

    I'd imagine that your car will be coming in fairly soon since they are now making deliveries way up here in New Hampshire.
    Try calling your dealer and see if they have heard anything. I bet by tomorrow you'll get it.

    I'd love to do that but I have to work today :( plus my wife is as excited as I am. She's just not as online a person as I am as she types slowly. Plus they will prep the car and make all the settings and adjustments. Plus my Dad is coming up from Florida next week. He's only up for 2 full days so I really want that time off to see him.
    I am so tempted to leave work early *coughcough* not feeling well *coughcough* must go home now. :drama:

    Yes I specifically asked them about that since I saw your thread on it. My car does have the MCO. It's mandatory in my State. they can't even drive it here on the truck without it. They'd have big problems at the weigh station.
    I'm thinking that maybe the driver to your dealership lost the paperwork.
    I'd try and follow that up with your dealer since the cars coming in all seem to have their paperwork in order.

    Did the dealer tell you what ship your car is on?
    The Pyxis Leader is heading for Cuba as we speak. If it's on that ship, you'll have yours fairly soon. :)

    I'll sure be asking. I know The List is a fairly long one so availability will be somewhat based on who passes ahead of me and how the Region Gods are allocating.

    Steve, I think you are the first northeast owner champion.:first:

    I'm still waiting to hear from multiple dealers for the first car to test drive. I expect some time next week they will be trickling in NJ.

    Well I'm sure if you call around you have a better chance of finding one. But since yours is on order you just have to wait and that's very frustrating. I'm hoping the dealer didn't let anyone take test rides in my car. I'm leaving in 20 mins to pick it up. :D

    Certainly the first in NH as other dealers don't even know when they will be getting their cars in.
    I can't imagine that they haven't delivered any cars in NJ yet.
    I hope you get yours soon.
