No, mudguards aren't available yet. Soon, though.

The black plastic rear bumper applique doesn't show up. I know someone here got them from the dealer, but it isn't an official 2010 Prius accessory. I even checked gen 2 cars, and nothing. Either it was an aftermarket piece, or it came from another vehicle (corolla and yaris use a black one). Part # on the clear piece is PT747-47101. PPO code is EF.

Side moldings aren't released yet either.

    Hey, Jabber,

It's really nice to have you here as a dealer person to offer your help. We really appreciate people like you, Troy/Warranty Shack, the fellow from Metroparts in Ohio (I can't remember his name right now), & Galaxee's husband & Bear (both Prius certified techs). It's good to have trustworthy info & help from all you guys. Thanks so much.

Now, as to the black plastic rear bumper protector : I think people here in the past have said it is a Toyota Matrix accessory. Maybe that will help you to get a part number for exbauer.

Thanks for all the help. But, the black one seems to be offered I know in the Texas region. I had one on my gen II, but I bought it from Metroparts. Somebody in Texas took posession of their 2010 and the dealer and mistakenly installed the black plastic one instead of the clear applique.

Danny, please post pics of what they look like and the part number. I really want a set since parking in the parking lot give me chills coming back to my car with a door ding.

I'll have both the hard black plastic one and the applique up in the Shop soon.

Still sourcing the hard black bumper protector from the Gulf States Region...

Thank you for the compliment (and I'm sure I speak for Troy, Bear, and Galaxee). I can definitely find the part number on a matrix one, but I am not sure if it will fit properly. I'll have my parts dept order one and see if it fits like it should.

I think they'd look best on the darker colors, but you could be right!

From the site linked below ... pricing for the lower rocker moldings is $525 (assuming for both sides of the car).

Carson Toyota TRD Parts, Replacement parts and accessories for Southern California

You may want to give the other 3 chrome trim pieces on that page a look as well.

I'm the guy that got the black Bumper Protector from GST. If it helps, it is listed as "Rear Bumper Protector" on my Sticker, with a letter code of PB and MSRP of $85. I have no idea where they got it, since I was actually trying to get the applique. :tsk:

If you want to do the 2 day pass to the TIS site Dave there are detailed instructions on it. I have them and honestly, they are not that hard if you have patience and are in the least bit 'handy'. Rick has them as well and he is going to do it himself.

I like the clear film for the hood is now available . I recall checking for my 07 Prius and body shops wanted close to $1000 to apply that film .
Wonder what Toyota will charge now ?

Look at page 2 of this thread, I posted the prices (as port installed options). If you meant at a dealership, then yes, the charge would be moresince their labor rates are much higher. The price at port is $395.

the toyota one is worthless since it just covers part of the hood. i have called around and gotten a quote of $500 to do the front bumper, half hood, part of front fenders, and mirror caps. i would called around and find somebody local.

That helps, thanks. There is no such code as PB in the chicago region. But I will keep searching and see what I can come up with?

I just could not get over the illuminated door sills when I saw them installed on the Blue Ribbon Metallic 2010 at Detroit. So . . .

Here are two photos of the driver's side installed:

    DSCF6877_1.jpg

    DSCF6877_2.jpg

I'll need to come up with better low-light pictures, but I just couldn't time it right.

In anticipation of the next question: Yes, you get four door sills in the package, all with the aluminum finish, but only the two for the front doors are illuminated.

Not everyone likes it, of course, and many people could find other ways to spend the money (like several tanks of gas), but I really like the look, particularly with the blue. My guess is that they'd look very good with any of the colors, but Blue Ribbon Metallic and Blizzard Pearl probably would show more dramatically.
