we have one that has the fogs and HIDs, and the one without the fogs. is there any way to add them without going through the dealer? and if so, how hard is it to do? thanks!

You'll need the lower airdam that has the foglight punch outs.

Other than that, it shouldn't be a problem adding it yourself. IIRC, some have done it here on PC. I don't remember if anyone posted a DIY.

Stock fogs are worthless. Look for more powerful aftermarket units.

My 2007 that I just got used has some PIAAs on it. Very nice install whoever did it and they certainly add a lot of light. Makes for good day lights too without using the full headlights.

I have a pair of Lucas Square 8's laying around (you have to be an "older" sports car fan to know these lights) that I plan to put behind the stock lower grille. I will post the results and possibly some pics of the install. Stylistically, they should look good there since they're rectangular. I need to pull the grille and take a look in there at where I can mount them (or mount an extruded aluminum angle across behind the opening to mount them to).

What I am curious about is whether the wiring for the fog light switch is in the harness so I can use the stock switch and relay location.

I found some nice ones that would work behind the stock lower grille, only problems now are mounting and how to wire them up.

Sounds like we're doing the same mod. Let's both post the results of our efforts to compare approaches. thanks!

Well, spoke with the Toyota parts guy. He states that the foglight wiring is in the harness. Can anyone confirm this? Otherwise I may tie them into the low beams and just have them come on with the regular lights.
