I just saw my new inventory today. I wasn't expecting another allocation until June. Well, I guess I don't have to wait... 6 more just popped up! They aren't built yet, as I don't see a port date, but at least I know they are coming in...

Just noticed how bad I fat fingered the thread title...

 Man, that post title had me worried! you do mean the '10 models, don't you? While anticipating my 2010, I didn't want to even imagine the next year models with Plug-in LI, Tech package with Sunroof.... the pain would be unbearable!

Forget next years 2011 model combining all the features we want.

What's worse is to imagine Toyota waisting their time going back to build 2001 models for nostalgia or whatever, rather than concentrating on getting us 2010s we need.

    2010's in large volume

Jeff, they essentially stopped production of the hybrid Highlander and hybrid Camrys (till Sept) so they could make sure there were enough hybrid batteries and components to handle the demand for the 2010 Prius.

That said, I too was pleasantly surprised. I have 23 Prius 2010 models coming within 10 days or so, and of course more cars to be allocated right around the 2nd. The initial few months will be large, and then it will taper off as it usually does... the ol' turn and earn. The dealers who make the cars flow fast will earn more cars. Keep their market share.

    Re: 2010's in large volume

I love the old turn and earn! We have a huge chunk of our region in prius sales due to market rep cars of the 09's. We asked for a bunch and got them during the big rush last summer. Naturally, that weighed heavy into our current allocation. With today's addition, this is what I have available right now (will be in by end of June at the latest):

    II - 2
    III - 3
    IV - 2

I wasn't aware that they cut production of the 6964's and 66's. I knew about the 2560's though. They only built a few to use as trac cars. Thanks for the tip!

Well, over here on the left coast (LOL) I have a few more to start with, but then we're right in the thick of hybrid territory for the most part!

    I have

    II - 7
    III - 5
    IV - 8
    V - 3

I have pre-sold a few already, but I think our selection's pretty great! And, there's more to come.

I'm guessing the "Denver" region isn't seeing cars till after 6/1. Mine is supposedly first in the region at 6/4-6/5 delivery with a few more trickling in after that.
