Texas Has Cars at Port!

Does processing mean they're loading them up with a bunch of overpriced rip off items?

 

oh wow, my dealer told me late june/early july. perhaps this means i could get it sooner than later!

 

My car is labeled as "A". Dealer says that that means it is allocated to them and is on the ship. Does that make sense?

When you get your car let us know what port is listed on the window sticker. Back in 06 they/we had this same discusion and it turned out they all came in at Long Beach and went by rail to Houston. (greenhybrid.com). I can see 3 car carrier type ships in the area but not at a dock. No tracking for them either so I don't know where they are going or came from.

 

I hope not, for all you GST sales region folks' sake. That would be adding injury to injury.

I can't get over the fact that GST dealers -- and therefore their customers -- have to pay more than twice as much in "Advertising Fees" (~$917 per car) than New York (don't know what sales region that is) dealers and customers (~$430 per car). It's not right.

Okay, I am waiting for a update.... Any news? It sure would be cool if my order could be field with fist shipment to Texas. I have only put deposit at one dealer so far. But Fred Haas had two dealers near me. So maybe they get 2 or 4, allotted to them. I hope.

 

My 2006 Prius came from Fred Haas Toyota World. Everything worked out great. Service department at both locations you get free soft drinks, WIFI and big screen TV, while you what on Oil Change. I have asked for a Prius V, ATP, exterior silver, dark silver or blue.What did you ask for.

i think there's going to be a line at the Fred Haas Toyota dealerships! From Fred Haas Toyota Country I asked for a V with AT in Blue Ribbon Metallic. Thought about the sunroof but decided I would really use the AT on a more regular basis.

 

When I ordered mine they said I was first :crazy:

 

looks like you ordered from the Fred Haas Toyota [FONT=&quot]World [/FONT], which I guess for ordering and distribution purposes is considered a separate dealership. I didn't do a priority order. So you're probably first over there. As for the Country one, I wasn't sure if I was first, but they implied I was.

 

I am just messing with you don't know about who was first but we did both order the car from the same place. Country.. I am working with Scott Lyche, Internet Sales Manager.
