VAIS vs. DICE vs. Coastaletech

Hey all,
Didn't want to post a new thread so thought I would ask on here....

Does anyone know if you can install the VAIS SL2Vi with the basic lockpick from coastal? I want to be able to use the nav. while I'm moving and watch video.

Or is there another option?

As I've said on this thread already, my advice is to steer clear of eCoastal. What a terrible company.

Vais, on the other hand, is great; their tech guy was really helpful when I was installing the Sl2i in my Prius.

do you know of any other way to watch the video and use the navigation while in motion?

already ordered the Sl2i and asked them if they knew of anything and they didn't.

What you get to do, is to basically see the title of the currently playing song, artist and album on the MFD, and to move to the next/previous song. You will still need to use the IPOD to actually find a specific artist or song. It will also pause and restart you IPOD if you take a call through bluetooth or otherwise stop your stereo, which is in my opinion is probably the most significant return on investment that it offers.

You can see all that? I can only see the artist and the album(which I don't give a darn about). I just want to see the artist and song title. How do you get more info?
