    usbseawolf,

Now that your dark gray seat covers have come in, how do you think they'll look in your [bisque interior with black leather center console and arm rests]?

I will replace the black center console for sure. I am debating if I want to change the door armrests as well.

I still have to see if the leather color will work out with the bisque interior. I cannot imagine how the finish look will be like by glancing it from the box. When I get home, I will put the leathers on the seat and have to think about it.

As seawolf notes, the only work on the doors are the arm rests, not the door panels themselves. Seawolf, does the door panel have to come off to get the arm rest off from the back? Or does it come free with the screw in the bottom of the hand hold?

Also, if the dark gray doesn't appear to be to your liking, you should be able to get your money back by selling that set and getting the vanilla set!

Yeah, that's what I would have to do too. E.g., I can spend hours or days contemplating how a new piece of furniture looks in a room and what items or elements to add or delete in order to bring everything together.

If prior to your installing them, you decide that you'd rather have -- but cannot exchange them for -- the bisque leather, let me know. I think under those circumstances, I might be willing to take them off your hands for the price you paid. I'd like to have a car with a leather interior sometime. But on my contemplated list of future mods, it's second behind my wanting a moonroof.

The door panel has to come off. It is pretty easy to take apart. It is held by two screws and 6-7 plastic clips. Remove two screws and pop it open and slide the entire panel up (as in the direction of window rolling up).

I can make a video of it. I can probably do it in 55 seconds.

Thanks for the hyundai assurance. :D I will let you know. If that case do happen, I am willing to help you a hand with your installation.

Installed the headrests. I am satisfy with my work so far. We think the color will work and better than plain vanilla.

The quality of the seats are even better with portfolio (vent holes). OP, I suggest you put the price on the subject.

Looking good! From the pictures, I'm thinking the color will work too.

Yes, there is a zipper... not visible and no bad. I dislike the winkle at lower corners! I think I am going to stuff some cotton balls in there to fill it up to give it a fuller look.

One issue though. The rear seats come with dark gray carpet in the back (on top when folded down) stitched with it. I am thinking of getting a cargo mat to match that color.

Just have to find how to remove the rear center armrest. I was going to take it out and work on it at home but I was unable to get it out.

Re: Bartlett Corporation Leather on Ebay-

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. All the OEM rear seats have carpet on the back too. I think that the OEM gray carpet cargo mat would look better too, but I don't think it's a big deal if you don't get it.

Regarding the door armrests and center console, I'm still thinking it might be better if you keep the black leather. Ever since I saw your photos of the black leather armrests and center console, I've always loved that two-toned look (like they have on the 2010 Misty Gray leather interior). I even went out and got the black leather center console myself, and have been recommending to PriusChatters that they go with the black leather no matter what color interior they had.

the leather needs a little time to settle. some installers use a heat gun to fit the leather. but, having it sit in the sun should help it shape a little better.

    I've added the price.

How much work were the back headrests? I'm assuming the front just zip right over....

Hi: Regarding disconnecting the battery for the air bags, are they talking about the 12 volt battery or the HV battery. I'm planning on have a professional do mine ($350) but want to kind of 'direct' him.

Three rear took about 45 mins. They are slip-ons and really tight. They took a lot of finger sliding to make "waves" rolling to make the exact fit look I was satisfied with.

12V battery. HV battery is disconnected if the car is off or even in IGN mode.

I thought I can just unplug the airbag wire when I remove the seat?
