You would think that they'd read the article before they put up the headline:

FOXNews.com - Toyota Slashes Prius Price to $21,000 - Auto

Toyota didn't slash the price on the new Prius; they're going to have two models and one is going to be less expensive than the other.

    Fair and balanced, indeed!

Well yes they did. Just because YOU can't really read the article you referred us to, you should note for fleet sales on a basic model, $21k is quite low. That's MSRP!!

    The following....

"Toyota said Tuesday the 2010 Prius will start at $22,000 — unchanged from the base price for the 2009 model. Toyota will release a more basic model later this year starting at $21,000, the Japanese automaker said, but did not elaborate on what features it will or won't come equipped with."

    Also...

"Higher-end models coming with extra features will range up to $27,270, the automaker said"

Actually higher if you buy all the options you can!!!

Not a bad article, pretty much verbated from the Toyota Press release...

    Fair and balanced, INDEED!

You want Pablum, go back to MSNBC, OR #4 RANKED CNN!

Plagiarism from corporate press releases is most of what makes up the mainstream media. It's probably even Toyota PR's headline.

I thought Toyota said there will only be one model with 5 packages and 3 option packages applicable to some packages. Maybe I got that wrong.

What else would you expect from from the bozo brigade at fix news?

5 trim levels, 3 option packages, yes.
