Woman are an entirely different species. I simply don't understand how a woman can calmly, coolly, rationally, work on some complete F Bomb grease encrusted, used up piece of s*** and not even once use a mild expletive

Inanimate objects *fear* males when males drop the F Bomb and shake the ratchet in a threatening manner. Some objects are dumber than others, you then have to recourse but to beat them senseless

It also helps if your neck pulsates in an alarming manner while shaking the ratchet at the now-broken part

So the order is definitely sleeve, bearing, spring. Verified this evening.
Thanks for all of the help!

Knowing when to swallow your pride is a sign of a good engineer.

    Hi Jonathan,

No need to swallow your pride. You've added new knowledge to the PC community by determining that transaxle parts exist that are not pictured in the exploded parts diagram! Thanks for that discovery.

So how did the story end?

Did Jsorger put the sleeve, spring and ball bearing back correctly?
Did he put it back incorrectly and cause damage to the car?
Did he have the car flat bedded to a dealer's shop?

    How does the story end?
