Prius Team invites LA & SF to meet the 2010 Prius

I'll be at the LA event on Sunday. The "special surprise" will make the LA and SF events much better than prior Prius Connections held on the East and Midwest. The best was saved for last...

Woo Hoo, got my invite this morning, and I am DEFIANTLY going to be there. Hope to meet a bunch of you folk at the L.A. showing!

Argh! I received the direct invite, but its not looking good. Wouldn't you know it I have a conflict this weekend, and I will be in LA next weekend I wonder if the family would noticed if I got "lost" at Disneyland for 5-6 hours on Sunday. I think I could make it to the airport, fly to SFO, attend the event, fly back and be back in the park with 6 hours......

 

Shhh! I've been having the same thoughts.

 

No need to worry. Nothing to fear. Nothing to protest. Really, it should be a great time! Definitely!

 

I will be there just got my invite reponse, should be fun can't wait to see the new car.

Got my own invite to the LA show yesterday; looking forward to meeting many of you at the Nokia Theatre Sunday.

Anyone have any idea how many folks are likely to show?

after finding out what the surprise is, it makes it real tough to have declined the invitation now. but dont have the time off available. saving it for trip in April. that trip will bring my PTO (paid time off) down to 30 hours which is my imposed minimum (used to be 40 hours but now i get it back at the rate of 5 weeks a year)

 

Wayne, I look forward to meeting you, if you are heading to SF. BTW I thought this event was on the QT. I had to sign a vow of silence when I got my invite early in Feb. Not supposed to give review on test drive till 3/25. Wonder if that's the publication date for Road & Track or some other car magazine.

Given the three-hour duration of the event, the special surprise and the likely number of cars available, my guess is that Prius Team is targeting 50 attendees total. We'll find out soon enough.

 

Yeah I did too. According to the "Deal" I can't Blog etc. about the "Driving Impressions" until after the 25th. I plan to seek someone out and have them define "Driving Impressions". I am assuming that it relates to actually driving the new Prius, I.E. Handling, Performance, that sort of thing. I would love to chat about all the OTHER stuff before the 25th. I plan to drain a battery taking pic's and it should be a nice Sunday diversion!!!

 

I have 2 batteries fully charged and a 2GB memory card ready to go. Show me the Prius'!:rockon:
