Keep an eye out for 2010 Prius on the road in NorCal.
Looks like Barcelona Red. Passed by while I was waiting for light. Looks squashed. I was in my '05 about 25ft away in 5 way intersection on Columbus and Broadway.
Must be pre-release for the Press. Not sure of the exact release date.

"looks squashed"? The ones I've seen in person and in photos didn't have that appearance.

That's just my opinion. The front and rear lights make it even more so.

Looks schmooks. At least it seems promising to be much more comfortable out of the box.

As far as I know, no one's allowed to drive it so it may be a Toyota employee behind the wheel. That would also be the first Barcelona Red as we haven't seen a red vehicle in its prototype fleet.

Maybe it was really a Ferrari, which may explain why it looked squashed! :p

I've been told just what you've noted here: No one is allowed to drive one in the U.S. -- yet!

I'm not doubting the OP. After all, he does have an '05, so I'd think he would recognize a 2nd Gen Prius as compared to something new and different. This is just a bit surprising.

Was it a 2000 Celica? May have been the Prius team moving a car.

Well given the new Toyota USA pictures in the pressroom, it could be the same Barcelona Red that wildbottom saw. It was out and about for a picture session.

It could have been looking for its photo shoot. Or, maybe it was driving down to LA to become one of the vehicles available for test-drive this past Sunday??
