Toyota Canada has launched a new minisite for the 2010 Prius. There's a nice short video too. Canadian members can sign up for updates!

Edit: Approximate dates are given on the site (they coincide with other events held around the country). Stay tuned for specific dates and times from John-Paul or myself.

the photo on that site look like a geninue canadian spec prius since the odo are in km and the climate control look like showing c instead of f.

Edit just watch the "walk around video". looks like we can get the fog light without the LED headlight.

I wonder if the BC home and garden show will have a open car to look at or a car behind the wall.

I was watching the video closely and it looked like they were very very careful in making the video. They showed the car without giving away any clue about the specs, yet you managed to find the foglights with the halogens lol. I didn't see it. I saw the grey plastic.

Yeah I saw the km on the odo but they were showing the same base Prius as the one attached to the press release. They do show two pics of the "Platinum" model but list it as "prototype".

It should be unlocked. It's after Jan 12 so the car doesn't need to be locked and put on a rotating stand.

Edit: Well if it's for the general public, it'll be on a stand cause it's not at the dealerships yet. If Toyota Canada invites us to an event, it should be unlocked.

Why would a car be unveiled at a Home and Garden Show? Isn't that taking 'down to earth' a little too far? Is there an optional reel mower attachment for the front grille?

    Sharp eyes!!

Yeah ok, then there probably is a premium package or something like our current package "B" that adds the foglights with the other stuff. Maybe the LEDs will be in some tech pack or luxury pack.
