Will the photo of Michael Phelps smoking pot

Maybe someone who is so obviously driven needs to relax once in a while. Anyway, I thought the prohibitions were for performance enhancing drugs, on which pot hardly qualifies.

 

That was before. He hasn't won a single gold medal since he was confirmed as a pot smoker.

Who cares what Phelps does when he is not competing? Bad drug policy makes the populace all the more cynical. He is the poster boy that proves pot smoking does nothing but get you high.

 

I think it's pretty dumb we lavish all this attention on a jock. It's all about Bread and Circus, to keep the sheep entertained

Why can't we all aspire to be engineers, scientists, etc?

 

The business of America is now advertising, and the audience is high school grad level-or less.

 

Pot usually motivated me to eat more, which is the last thing I needed to be motivated to do.

 

A lot of people do. My son does.

 

If he's interested in computer science or chemical engineering, I'd be pleased to provide helpful hints

 

Now there's a reason for genetic engineering. Make pot smokers more motivated to become rocket scientists (or if you're actually a rocket scientist you'd say brain surgeons).

Athletes, actors...'entertainment' is a huge industry of modern day court jesters making us comfortably numb. Heaven forbid we learn what's really going on, let alone do anything about it.

 

Nope, can't have that. Imagine all the bloodsucking middlemen, consultants, lobbyists, etc, who'd be out of a job.

I know I'm giving bloodsuckers a bad name. Even that time a few years ago when I went skinnydipping in a small, rocky lake, and had them attach to various appendages and pointy bits, which required a LOT of patient removal, at least they didn't stick to me with deliberate malice

 

If no photos have surfaced of Mark Spitz with a roach clip, I'm sure someone is out there photoshopping Spitz into a bong photo.
