    Hi All,

I saw a car that made me smile on the way home this week. It started out as a modern Mini. They chopped out the rear half of the cabin, and then mounted a giant can of Red Bull slanting from the transom to the roof. Quite a sight coming down the road!

Hyo, did you know that Toyota had Yamaha build the 2000GT for them? They've gotten lots better at building sporty cars since then!:)

No, I didn't know that. Maybe a hybrid sports car is next. :)

The last Yamaha-built engine is the 2ZZ 1.8 litre DOHC VVT-Li engine found on the 01-05 Celica GT-S, 03-05 Matrix XRS and 2006 Corolla XRS.

Here's another three wheeler currently in production that is smile-worthy,
    the Can-Am Spyder:

    http://priuschat.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=12524&stc=1&d=1230223049

Last summer, I saw one of these outside the Harley-Davidson dealer just
east of Portland, Maine. It has a price tag just above $17K, ABS, traction
control, and other high-tech refinements. In real life it looks like it has been
squashed down, and the wide front wheel track, very good for stability,
looks awkward to my eye ...

Yeah, but I didn't drive one, so who am I to say?

I'm posting now because I saw one motoring around NE Ballamer yesterday.

More info on this vehicle from Bombardier, a Canadian firm, here:

    BRP Can-Am Spyder Roadster

I hear from others in my motorcycle club who have ridden or own these that they are awesome. They take a little getting used to but once you do they corner extremely well, are quite quick and make good tourers.
You can even tow a trailer with them.
    But it isn't a car.

    Pat,

    Technically yes, but...

It is my understading that in Great Britian, three wheelers are, or at least
can be, considered "cycle-cars." It maybe stretching it a bit, but it was on
this understanding that I have posted this and other three wheelers to this
    thread...

I hope that I haven't committed some kid of unforgivable international
    motoring enthusiast's gaff here.
