Who cares about seeing photos of Ford utes? This was the much-anticipated 2010 Prius. Not getting photos and then posting up here is just cause for a little rib poking.
i've seen a lot of cars wrapped up for routine shipping to dealers/between dealers. with no picture, it could of just been a 2009 wrapped up for transport
true or not, it's all good. it just means that the "10's" will soon be here. i just got mine in 08, so it will be awhile before i can get the 10. i'm sure it will be a great car, more performance and better gas mileage. if you folks read my other post, i'm still in disbelief that GM/chevron/whatever has a "PATENT" preventing other vehicle manufacturers to use "BIGGER BATTERIES" in a car????????? gosh, what a pathetic patent. good grief, i've heard it all now. we could have had more cars with much better FE's right now! How selfish and how paranoid GM can be..............
GM sold the patent to make a quick buck. It's not GM's fault that Chevron won't license. Believe it or not but GM is not respponsible for all the world's ills.
To prove my sightings of 2010 Prius at the dealership here is the car that looks like i have seen, unfortunatly i do not cary a camera with me. Auto123 has posted 3 new 2010 Toyota Prius spy photos taken by a gentleman with a camera phone recently. The 2nd photo confirms the interior that we have seen in other spy photos. PriusChat will have a gallery of all of the 2010 spy photos soon so that you don't have to search through multiple threads to find them all
Here is the thread that you speak of... http://priuschat.com/forums/prius-hybrid-news/53901-3-new-2010-prius-spy-photos.html
Anybody who doesn't think the oil companies want to buy up all that battery technology with all those hard-earned oil speculation dollars is whistling Dixie. It's what's called protecting your business. They are also busy sewing up other alternatives as well. The government should tax 'em a 100 billion or so while they can. Last time I looked they needed about 700 billion.
I got to see the Corvette ZR1 being driven out in Mesa outside GM's Testing Facility along with the Tahoe Hybrid back in September 2007 when I lived out there. I've also noticed some big SUV's being driven around the area surrounding Laughlin. This past summer i noticed what looked like the new Kia Borrego being driven out there in the dirt...maybe they were filming the commercial? haha
