Aw gee!! You mean I now have to face the start of the week without anything to lighten my load. :( I now have to wait until Wednesday before I can get any respite from the harsh world. ;)

Yeah, I know what you mean. I go to the gas station so seldom now that I am astonished when the "add fuel" message goes on. I miss opportunities to socialize while filling the huge tank on my gas guzzler.

LAst time I went for fuel it took me so long looking up where the petrol station was that I entered it as a place of interest in my GPS for the nextr time I need petrol.

Is it my memory or are refills really that far apart?

Very dissapointing... unforseen Prius poor milage!!!

My 2008 package #6 Prius is averaging about 36 mpg. I drive it normally. I have met about 3 other Prius owners that Gas up where I do. When they pressed there info buttons the were getting 44 to 46 mpg. I pressed mine and it was 36.4.

The dealer tells me I have to learn to drive it a certain way. These other folks just drive it like I do. When I figure the gas usage with my calculator it confirms the poorer gas milage.

The gas air mixtures are computer controlled. I think mine needs to be re-tuned with the right equipment..

You might start by reading the materials over in the "Mileage forum" or other sources. I think there is something in Wiki too.

But is it safe to leave it at that? Wouldn't it be better if all waggish posts in the Prius Main Forum were required to have certain sound attachments to make sure that a blind man with a stick could hear them coming? And what kind of sounds would those have to be? Would they work as well for a blind woman with a stick? Should someone conduct a study?

Oh c'mon, give him a break. I read this as tongue in cheek humor only. I realize that this site, one of the best I've seen, tends to draw trolls because of its subject matter, and there's a fair amount of sensitivity on the troll front as a result. That said, being an admin myself over at Bobistheoilguy.com, I've become pretty adept at scanning for, catching, and expelling true trolls. Though the sophisticated ones can be hard to distinguish from legit posters, most are pretty obvious. This guy is not a troll. Come back out of your hole Alex, or more will start to believe you're a troll! Cheers.
