Sometimes I just only want to turn on/off the defroster when fog builds up on the windshield. So I thought the logical thing would be to press the front defroster button on the steering wheel for on and for off. It does turn the defroster on, but if I press it again, it doesn't turn it off. Is there something I'm missing here? So far, I've only found one way to turn it off, and that is by pressing the AUTO A/C button twice, turning on and off the A/C. Can't I just press the defroster button again?
do you mean going into the climate screen and pressing the defroster icon? is there another easier way, preferably not having to resort to the nav screen while driving?
Yes, there is an easier way! If you switch to AUTO A/C on the wheel you will not have the fog to begin with.
