Simple environmental reasoning, I've derived the solution to the problem: 18 inch subwoofers, 600 watt per channel amps, and old "scewl" hip-hop mandatory of all Prius owners, blasting 140 decibles at every intersection, the following:

They'll hear us just fine! Better help boogie them across the street! Soon enough, we'll have them on their hands and knees, begging dimwit politicians for quiet cars.

Are you sure its only 34 threads? Are you counting the threads where I suggested whistle tips as a solution for this problem?

 

So, it is being kind to blind people to constantly tell them that they are in danger from hybrids? Terrorizing a blind neighbor? Filling them with fear? "Oh no, it's not safe for you out there anymore. Hybrids are roaming the streets, heedlessly running blind people over."

well ya know, if there were not so many other loud cars on the road, the quietness would allow a blind person to hear a Pri coming just from tire noise.

so, lets not make the Pri louder, lets just eliminate the noise pollution that drowns out the noise a Pri DOES make...
