2008 Pruis Rolling Down Hill Ok I give up, I tilted the camera. We have had the car for two weeks. Added some Graphics for a little personality . What do you think? We think it makes it look longer.
Meet Serenity She brings me such Joy... Mine since July 12, 2008. 2008 Spectra Blue Mica. Touring, Package #6.
Re: Meet Serenity What a wonderful name! I understand how you feel -- I've had my Bella since the 16th and still feel the joy.
Here's mine/ours. Purchased her last week. '05 T-Spirit. High motorway mileage @ 85k, but she looks and drives like new! hoto: It's my wife that's driving it most of the time, as she's expecting our first reggers:, and needs something reliable and safe. Even though she has no idea of fuel economy and such, she's still averaging 55mpg!
Re: Meet Serenity Prius12306, Funny you should ask... That picture was taken after spending all day applying 3 coats of Zaino products to it. Although I have to say that even after a couple days of rain it still looks really good. I've never seen water bead like it does on that car now!
boxer93: i TRULY don't want to "burst your bubble" as it were ... but you MAY want to look into the "warranty implications" of this plug-in conversion a bit more before going through with it. i know that MANY people have done this already, but they may not have been aware of Toyota's "official stance" in the matter .... you see, i was surfing several hours ago, and came across this at the Prius FAQ page ... link follows: 25. Does Toyota support the modification of my Prius to be a plug-in Hybrid and run on electric mode only with a switch? Any such alterations, modifications or tampering with the vehicle voids the warranty and is likely to be counterproductive for air quality and Prius' durability and safety. http://www.toyota.com/vehicles/2008/prius/faq.html
nice color, Great shirt! I just wish I could keep mine as shiny as it was the day I got it. Been a little over 2 months with mine and it's got that nice dull look already. All it seems to do is rain here so I can't seem to find the right time to wash it. In July we had about 7 inches of rain, and usually get I think about 3, so, yes, it's been rainy. But a great car - enjoy.
with the steering wheel on the right, where is the power button? Also, I'm impressed with the engine shot - I've never even opened my hood
After 2 1/2 months on the list, I finally received my Mag Gray #2 on Friday night. Would have had to waited another 2-4 weeks if the original woman slated for mine hadn't decided to up to a pkg #6. Thank you mystery woman! I love it! Never owned a brand new car so I'm going to be a bit psycho about keeping it clean. The old 97' Passat is ready for the junk heap - 207K (though it still got the EPA 26 MPG on the highway). Got 49 MPG in the first 100 miles of driving since I picked her up. Loving it! Enjoy my few pics!!
Re: Meet Serenity My new one looks like Weirdo23's...just got my Spectra Blue Touring #6 today also...had ordered a grey one...but they called today with this one and it looked fabulous...so I took it. Still at dealer though getting Sirus and mudflaps. Can't wait to get it in a few days....no name for mine yet...got any suggestions?
What a poser! That was so much fun, she's back for more -- Thule rack, carrying additional non-guzzling vehicles.
