I noticed one small glitch with the Dice Silverline that I installed tonight. It was my understanding that you could move through the songs on your ipod by using the tuning knob on the radio. My tuning knob doesn't seem to work with the unit. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.
Hmmm.....I'm away from home for a few days or I'd check it out for you. I'm pretty sure I'm using the same modes. I've been pressing the "audio" button on the MFD, then pressing the big "2" to select the playlist that I want to listen to by using the up/down arrows on my steering wheel, then pressing the big "1" and then using the up/down arrows to go through the songs of the playlist I selected. I haven't tried scrolling with the tuning knob.
In the iPod and MP3 mode, my tuning knob doesn't do anything, either and I see where in the instructions it says it should. Maye in a different mode (satellite?) the tune knob will work? ualdriver
In my 2005 it has to be in the Satellite mode for the knob to work. That's with the switches Down, Down, Up Up. Also completely power down the Prius before switching. It doesn't seem to change unless the car is powered down and up.
Well I got back from Bonaire yesterday, so today I tried putting the Dice unit in Sat mode to see if that enabled the tuner knob. It worked!!! :faint: To all those who've had this same problem, try the unit in the Sat Mode. Thanks aaf709!
