what is the most leafs, cars, turtles (whatever you call them) you have gotten in a 5 min span? I got 4 once but im curious if more is possible
Sorry to have to break the bad news, but the more of those you get, the more energy that is being lost in the exchange from gas to regenerated electricity and the lower the mpg. The goal is to have as few exchanges as necessary by using the "glide" instead of the "coast". What Neicy says. It's certainly good to recapture energy that in a conventional car would be lost otherwise. But in my striving for maximum fuel economy I've never tried to see how many I can get. I pride myself on how few I get.
sometimes I get a few on purpose by coasting off the highway to a stopping point. I have to recharge the battery getting ready for the 39 mph 0 rpm driving! But on the whole you dont want a lot of them as normal course.
