Never understood why an entire group- of cars, motorcylces, bikes, would pull over for a cop. THe closet to the cop should stop, the rest should continue on their way. It's not like they are attached at the hip?
Usually, a radar plane catches a group of cars speeding and radios it ahead to waiting policemen. It's not just one car pulling them over, it's 4-5. They essentially create a roadblock and tell those they want to pull over, while letting others through.
All those exotic cars were just idling in first gear, obeying the speed limit, right? Twice I've been caught in a trap for others. Once I saved someone else a pile of cash because they only had two stopwatches in the helicopter, and I just passed the Porsche. The other time the cops held back the group of bikers long enough for me to get away.
How do we know they were in a group? Maybe it was a coincidence that all of them happen to be on the road at the same time?
I've twice been in amongst a "group" (I knew nobody) of cars pulled over. Both times in US, as they don't do that too much here in Canada. Cop was NOT next to me or looking at me when he made the pull-over gestures. Both times I just kept going, ready to nicely pull over if I got some specific indication. I don't recognize "mass pullovers", only the normal kind. Both times I had no problem. I figure if they get 5 or 6 people out of 8, that's a pretty good average for a high-efficiency "mass pullover".
