How can the front wiper washers not spray the windsheild if the back one works? The tank has fluid in it I checked. It used to work fine. Now nothing at all. drat.
maybe. It's warranty covered Im sure but it still stinks! I hate when stuff happens and thats why I always get new cars!
Did you have someone run the pump, both front and rear, while you had your head stuck inside the hood, near the washer fluid container. I can't see the pump, but I know it's nearby. Just wondering if it's attempting to pump the front wipers? ZC1
I ran it low on fluid. In fact I must have run it close to dry. When I refilled the tank the rears works fine but the front not. Hope is not pump. I imagine I can get it covered under warranty anyway when I take it in for its 5K service. I keep the car so clean I almost never use them anyway. *sigh*
You could have lost the prime on the front pump. Have you cycled it a bunch of times to make sure the fluid is up to the pump? Tom
I had this happen on my last car. I had gotten wax inside the holes where the fluid comes out. I never was able to get the wax out and just went without it. Maybe this happened to you? Needless to say I stay well clear of the nozzles when waxing the Prius.
Yes Tom I did. A bunch of times. nothin. I will look see if the hose got piched. It isnt dire as my service is either this week or next probably, but I hate to see anything go wrong you know.
Dont use wax. Zaino guy here. Clogs aint it from the polish anyway. I got it low on fluid so maybe gunk from bottom of tank?
just disconnect the hose pour some water in and blast with a small air compressor- other then that put some CLR in the washer tank
its a new car notch. Their is no calcium lime or rust in the tank! And that stuff may not be so nice to the car finish anyway but thanks for the thought.
