Auto headlghts when dark Any1 interested?

I met a dealer like that. I had a deal in the works at one dealer, but the wife thought we could do better if we went to another dealership. I was upfront about the deal I had with the other dealer and told them where I was at. He went to his manager (you know make us wait for 15 minutes scheme they do) then he comes back and says that there is no way they can get us a Prius at a deal anywhere near that. In fact he might as well have accused me of lying to him. He acted like he was doing me a favor and goes I went ahead and looked to see if we could get you into a Corolla with those numbers and we are close, but I need an extra $500 down. Insulted we walked out. The next day the original dealer called me and sweetened their deal by $500 and said they were able to order the magnetic gray so we took it. 10 days later I drove away with our brand new 2007 package 2 in the color we wanted with only $500 down a trade of our 1991 4x4 Explorer that was given to us and a payment of only $285. By the way my wife is every car salesman's worst nightmare.

I guess it's just me ... but is it so hard to turn the headlights on when it's dark? ...lol Why would I pay extra for a modification when it takes a millisecond to turn the switch?

The reason is because once you have them you forget to turn on the switch when you no longer have them. last night i drove several miles in downtown sac w/o my lights, including right past a cop, before I figured out my lights weren;t on. Just lucky I didn't get stopped for that one, but geez wasn't the cop awake either?

Ok, I guess I just notice if my lights aren't on when it's dark. Kind of like when I go in a dark room I have that same sensation.

My only excuse is that the streetlights were bright enough that I didn't notice until i hit the freeway on ramp (no lights!). I will say I don't normally make this mistake though.
