0452 Bronze Mica Metalic?

    Hummmmmmm, I just put down some money on a '08 Prius that's on it's way to the dealer, and it's color is 0452 Bronze Mica Metallic.
    I haven't seen this color in any of the Prius Ads. Have you?
    Just a wond'ren. I sure would like to see what color this is before it gets here. Anyone know where I can look to see this color? :help:
    Another thing, this Dealership in Texas where I'm getting mine, is getting one more in, same deal but I believe in a grey metallic, that supposedly isn't 'spoken for' yet, and their price (for mine anyway) is only $25,605. +TTL.
    If anyone is interested, gimme a holler [email protected], and I'll tell you who to call to talk to about reserving it.
    I've e-mailed and talked to over 30 dealerships in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, for the 'best deal' and some are blatantly asking $5K over the MSRP, the dirty rascals.
    Any help on my seeing this color would be appreciated.

    I am pretty sure 25,600 is more than sticker on a pkg 2. It sounds more like a pkg 4 sticker price.

    Oh, and like you I have never heard of Bronze Mica, but it sounds like it could be pretty.;)

    I paid about this amount for a 2008 Touring #6 less than a month ago, this price is way too much for a package 2

    Bronze is probbably driftwood pearl ..... you should be able to get some good discount on this color

    This color does not show up on the US Toyota Prius website, is it possible that the dealer made a mistake on the color?

    That's the color referred to in the US as "Driftwood Pearl". You can tell by the color code of 0452. In Tideland Prius' Knowledge Based thread on Prius colors, features, option packages in the world, he gives this description of the color:

    "4S2 Driftwood Pearl / Aztec Bronze Metallic / Metallic Bronze Mica / Bronze Mica"

    You can see roughly what it looks like on the Prius by going to the Toyota Prius website (note - the colors on the Toyota website and eBrochures are always off, e.g., Driftwood Pearl is lighter and clearly more metallic in real life than how it appears in the below link):

    Boo beat me too it. drat. 452 or 4S2 (looks like) is a driftwood Pearl color. I like that color myself. It is a softer color tho.

    But you beat me to the point about the color code. I agree with you -- I think it's 4S2 (and not 452). So I've edited my post.
