can anybody recommend a reliable dealer in nyc.The prius is going to be my first new car and Im finding the whole process very overwhelming.Im looking for 2008 package #2,what should I expect to pay?help
From what I'm reading, the best prices in NYC and environs may be through Costco. A recent PriusChatter went through Costco and ordered a 2008 package 6 from Toyota of Westchester for $100 above Invoice or $2100 below MSRP. I recommend reading CarBuyingTips.com new car buying guide, avoiding dealer scams, new cars, used car buying and you may want to contact some Jersey dealers. NJ is a CARB state so the hybrid part of the warranty is longer.
Hi Jim, I just realized that NY is also a CARB state (I think). A footnote buried in my warranty booklet says that the California extended warranty "also applies to Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont vehicles equipped with a California Certified Emission Control System."
