DICE Silverline - Correct the "Drop Out" Issue?

    Ok, I have been reading the reviews and asked questions on other threads but here it is again.

    Does the new DICE Silverline correct the "drop out" problem inherent with the older DICE units?

    For those of you unaware their is a very common problem with DICE simply dropping out after minutes or up to an hour of operation and going from SAT mode to AM radio. You then are required to "reboot" your DICE by unplugging the power cable, leaving it unplugged for several seconds and plugging it back up. At which time it may function for 5 minutes or up to an hour or so before starting to skip songs and then "dropping out" again ... repeat ... again ... repeat, LOL.

    Before you ask, no there is nothing wrong with my Prius. I have tried 3 different DICE on 2 different Prii personally and as I said you can read about this all over. Seems to be a manufacturer defect from DICE but getting any information from them is .... ummm ... "slow" at best.

    I just got a SilverLine and am pretty happy with it. Others have pointed out the shortcomings of the UI, but I can live with those. I've not experienced the dropout issues others were having, and hope I never do. I placed the DICE unit in a not-so-easy place to get to if that issue crops up.

    Anyway, I've had it running for the better part of a week with my iPhone, no problems at all.

    Thanks for the reply. Who do I need to PM to get my defective DICE replaced?

    I have already tried to PM the person that has replaced the last two hear on PriusChat but I haven't received a response in over a week.

    Any ideas?
