just signed up to the forum. i've had a prius for about 8 months now and love it. i am sure that this question is answered elsewhere on these boards, but in my searches i couldn't seem to locate the answer. so if someone could point me in the right direction i'd be grateful. basically i just bought a lockpick3 and an ibrowse that i need to install and am looking for a guide on how to do it. mainly my question is how do i open up the dash board. i don't want to hurt it by pulling it apart the wrong way.... i have a 2007 with nav. if anyone has any advice or could just point me to a thread that has a how-to, i would be very grateful. thanks, sleestack

My new car is only one week old. What the heck is a lockpin3? I don't see it on any threads or posts? What do you hope to do with it?
LOCKPICK 3 the lockpick does a few things. the main reason i'm installing it is so that someone in the passenger seat can input info into the nav sys while the car is in motion.
thanks for the help, but this search didn't seem to reveal anything to me. did you do that search and find the answer? is it possible that coastal has removed their description of how to install? or is the info right in front of me and i'm just a retard? anyone have any other leads? again, i am mainly looking for info on how to open up the prius dashboard. thanks again. slee
This will help you get the dashboard open. For starters, start with the side vents. Just grab them top and bottom and pull hard horizontally. They will pop out and you will bruise your knuckles but you won't break anything.
