I haven't jacked my Prius either....the tailpipe is too small....

(really tasteless. sorry...but I just couldn't resist)

When I installed my flaps, I used the Prius jack. Thought I should test it to be sure it worked just in case I ever got a flat on the highway. Much better to do that now in a no pressure situation (installing the flaps) as opposed to fumbling with the jack late at night on the freeway on the side of the road and finding that the crank was missing or something. The Prius jack worked fine. Installed all 4 flaps in about 20 minutes, including drilling the extra holes in the wheel well. You only need to jack the rear. Tires, that is. (Oops, sorry, did it again).

The owner's manual shows the position to place a regular floor jack. Whatever you do, make sure your body isn't ever beneath the car when jacked.

The best walkthrough I've found for installing mud flaps is:

    Molded Splashguard Installation

It also shows where the jacking point is for a floor jack.

Thank you for taking the time. I was not sure how to deal with the push clips which Toyota provided. Also, it seems that the 2012 Prius Plug-In installation is even easier.
