Is it factory istalled or is it Memorex?????

    Hi Everyone,

    I'm a newbie. I'm looking to buy a new 2008 Prius pkg 5 or 6. I have test driven what I believed to be a pkg 6 with leather seats and center console. When I read some posts in this forum I saw that the factory installed leather seats are perferated. The car I test drove had non-perferated seats and the dealer had told me they are definately factory installed NOT after markdet. Does this sound fishy?? Are ALL 2008 Prius's with factory installed leater perferated?

    Thanks for any help you can offer. This forum had been a great help.

    2008 factory leather is most definitely perforated. it was probably port installed.

    Same here. We have two 08's, both Pkg 6, both perforated leather.

    That's what I suspected. It's hard to be sure at times if the dealer is being upfront or not!

    Just read the window sticker and it will state what package it has and what is included. If is isn't perforated then it is not factory leather.
