One more "super white" owner. Primary motivation: knowing that I'd be living in the desert southwest (Albuquerque, NM, USA) for the forseeable future, and I wanted the most reflective paint available.
I've always had black cars, but am seriously considering white this time around ... I guess I am getting old
hey everyone, picked up my 2008 Package 2 on the 14th for $21,000 OTD and getting $11,000 for my truck....this is my 2nd car, and both were/are white..had 22 miles on delivery, now has 475
We picked white when we purchased our '08 package 2 in January. We've had white cars before and they do tend to stay cleaner. The main reason we selected white is it stays cooler in sunny California. Less heat to deal with when getting into the car on a hot day. Less fuel to cool it down. And we think the white looks nice too. John

Yay! lots of lovely, white Prii! I like it when people post either the thumbnails (use the paperclip), or use the image insertion tool (looks like a yellow box with a mountain in it) to post photos... I hate clicking links to go look at photos. But, that's just me, YMMV
I just ordered a Super White a Prius and was told it would take about 10 weeks for delivery. I am retiring my White Cadillac Deville for the White Prius. White is the best.
I was the opposite! I wanted the white, settled for Spectra Blue Mica. The blue has grown on me, but I still would have chosen super white given the chance again.
I'm in! I bought an '08 SUPER white with a light grey 5pkgg. I had an aftermarket leather and heated seat pkg put in and love it. I started out wanting a Barcelona Red with tan interior. This was the one and only around here( the ordering customer walked away) and I grabbed the SW and am happy I did. Where did you get the side decal? I didn't see it in black in the P store.
I am reposting since I'm not getting updates to this thread any more. Another advantage of a white car is that it is much easier to do touch ups from rock dings, etc. I just had to fill in a couple that I got last week. I can barely see them. When I had a blue metallic truck, it was impossible to touch up scratches and chips without having them stand out like a sore thumb.
Count me in as well. Should be getting our 2nd prius end of month. We already have the magnetic grey and soon to have the Super White with Bisque interior. They should compliment each other nicely - good juxtaposition between exterior colors and interior colors. Almost went with Classic Silver which I like almost as much. Wanted Bisque interior though and when I noticed every other Prius on the road and for that matter every car on the road was Silver that made up my mind for me. My last white cars were a 1995 Saturn SL1 and a 1990 Volvo 740 GL wagon (which although my wife adored it .... it was a piece of crap). Looking forward to owning another white car - especially a white that is as bright as the toyota white.
As you can see from my name, mine's a white one. I orginally wanted black or grey but I liked the white color because it makes the car look bigger - since it's a smaller car... This is my 4th white car - white 1997 Honda Accord, white 2001 Lexus ES, white 2003 Acura MDX. My last car was silver 2004 BMW 525 though. I guess it was time to come back to white.
OK had mine since march, but just found this thread and thought to join on in...along with a few pics @ less than a week old after removing caps and adding tint + some other extras next to my street legal go kart
