generator pwn line connection malfuncion

    Does anybody know where should I start to look for the problem?
    On the original scanner from toyoto I have code p3100 but under code
    is 310 "generator pwn line connection malfuncion"
    What PWN stands for?

    I believe this is a problem with the hybrid vehicle ECU.

    I sold my repair manuals when I sold my 2001 so I can't offer more specific info. I suggest you download the relevant repair manual pages from the techinfo.toyota.com subscription website for info about troubleshooting and repair.

    I think I found the problem The bottom of the inverter
    is broken and the board inside is demaged.
