Why is it special? Everyone knows that the Metallic Silvers are more fuel efficient, greener, faster, prettier/more macho, blah, blah, blah :fish:
Dominican Republic Hola. from Punta Cana. I am new in the Prius club, I have a 2004 Prius imported from Miami. I need to know if you know some owners in Santo Domingo, I know that there are some. The Santo Domingo Dealer do not import this model, so we are orphans with our Prius. I want to form a Prius Club so we can help one another in case of any problem. Please advise me througn this email. Thanks. Jean.
I purchased this 2005 10 days ago, and have been driving it as a taxi since Thursday. So far, it's been awesome! I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences using this car in this very taxing (no pun) application. I will probably run into problems before the rest, due to the high number of city miles. Wish me luck. Scott
That is ridiculous. How can you think that color would make the car any better than another. I do know for fact that the Silver Prii have better drivers though.
No pictures came up on the post... but on the quote of your thread... it does after I recut the address of the photos, although the photos don't show up...
My wife and I got our new Prius last week to go with out new baby! Barcelona Red, package 6. I had a Honda CRX HF when i was in college that I regularly got 45+mpg from. Sort of reminds me of that, only this has much more content. The Honda had a much sportier feel to it. I've managed to get the reverse warning buzzer turned off. next up is making all the doors unlock simultaneously. Went on our first 200mi trip last weekend and averaged 50mpg. Looking forward to my first 60mpg tank.
How did you get that annoying beep off? I am picking up my Barcelona Red Package #6 on Saturday. Love you color choice!!
I see the dealer has put advertising on your car. Are they paying you for that? You can remove it, you know
Here we go, I just registered on the forum tonight and here's my first post. This is my new baby, Penny. I picked her up last Wednesday from Bill Kidds Timonium Toyota in Timonium, Maryland, USA. 2008 Package #4. I'm still learning all the bells and whistles. Also thinking about buying the clear plastic floor mats - have any of you used them yet? I want to keep her interior AND exterior sparkling for as long as humanly possible! I was wondering whether I would really like the silver pine mica, but after one week I have no regrets. I love the color! And I don't see a gazillion of them on the road. I took these pictures last Thursday at my parents house. I will be washing her tomorrow and taking some better ones, weather permitting!
