    Hello group,
first, I did try to use the search feature but it wouldn't work for some reason, kept telling me I needed at least three words which I did..
Anyway, I have my RAZR connected to my 08 Pri and whenever I get a call, even from someone in my addy book it says "incoming call"..Does the Prius not support caller ID? I know my phone will as long as the name is in the book, otherwise it at least displays the number..I am sure I am doing something wrong..
Any insight would be greatly appreciated..
    Thanks!
    John

If you searched Caller ID, ID is two letters.

It displays incoming call if you're on the move IIRC. If you're stopped, it'll display the name or number.

The actual number will not display when the car is in motion, only when it is at a standstill.

The name will display if it is in the phone book and the number match is exact with the incoming caller ID. For example, if your carrier caller ID information does not contain a leading one and the entry in the car's contact list does contain the leading one, that will not be a match, i.e., 800-555-1212 will not be a match with 1-800-555-1212.

Oh..I see..I need to check my entries. Will it show the name while moving or even then does it still just say incoming call? Guess I need to play with some entries to see what I get.
    Thanks guys,
    John

Oh one more question, if you have that lockpick kit, will it display the info then or do they only come into play on outgoing calls, being able to dial by touch while moving and such?

I am having the same difficulty.....Verizon LG phone - recieved caller ID information, but does not display on the MFD.
Bluetooth connected flawlessly, and was able to transfer my phone book with ease.
But the MFD only shows "incoming call" and "not supported".
Have tried numbers entered in the the phonebook in all configurations, and tested the caller ID while the car is in motion and also while stopped.
    No Luck......

--Otherwise sooooo happy with my new Prius--

On my 2005, if it's in the Prius' phonebook (correctly, like IsrAmeriPrius said) I see the name when moving and the number when stopped.

You can cut the speed sensor wire and install a switch. When switched to "Off" the car thinks it's stopped. You lose the 5-minute bars on the Consumption Screen and the turning wheels of the Energy screen during that time, but if it's a short time off, you may not notice. If no switch you still have the 18 quick call number and voice calling.

I also have a Verizon LG and I only see the ID if it's in the phonebook.
