Ok I don't have an owner's manual yet and I have never had an in dash cd change and no I didn't grow up on little house on the prairie. Before I tear something up how do I work this? Do the cds go in one at a time into the upper cd slot or do they go in in the lower where the six buttons are?
I never had a CD player in a car before. The CD's go in right there between the load and eject buttons. To load 6 CD's, press and hold the 'load' button, then stick them in, one at a time until full. To eject them all, press and hold 'eject' and they come out one at a time. I noticed that they are difficult to see coming out, because I'm looking at them edge-on. At first I thought I was doing something wrong because they weren't ejecting. edit: I mean hold the button for a couple of seconds, not the entire time you load the discs If you just press it, you can load one disc
To load a single CD: 1. Press LOAD 2. Wait til the blinking lights turn green 3. The CD holder that you're inserting the CD into will blink orange (most likely the first slot so number 1 will be blinking) 4. Insert CD 5. Radio will automatically start playing the CD To load all 6 CDs: 1. Press and hold LOAD until you hear a beep 2. All 6 holder spots will blink orange 3. Wait til the slot illumination turns green 4. Insert the first CD 5. Wait til the slot illumination turns green again 6. Insert the second CD 7. Repeat til you've inserted all the CDs you want 8. The radio will automatically play the first track of the last CD to be inserted To eject one CD: 1. Press AUDIO 2. Select the CD you wish to eject (if there's more than one in there) 3. Press EJECT 4. The CD player will eject the selected CD To eject all CDs: 1. Press and hold EJECT until you hear a beep 2. The CD player will eject all the discs one at a time starting with the current disc

... ok it looks like you don't have the factory CD Changer but a dealer-added Toyota CD Changer. THAT I don't know since I've never seen it.
I had a feeling since my responses didn't exactly match what I was looking at in my car. I have a cd player slot at my radio then down below I have the flip open panel that has the six cd buttons w/ another cd slot.
hmmm- Flip open panel w/ 2 slots -- sounds a lot like what I have in my '07 TCH w/ NAV. (4 CD changer w/ NAV). Look carefully at the bottom "CD" slot -- are you sure it's not "DVD"? On mine, the top slot is for CD's and the bottom is for my NAV DVD. You MAY have a unit that plays DVDs. Just a thought.
