It's always nice when the Original Poster (OP) offers a bit of an explanation about a link they are posting, maybe mentioning that it is a video, or even, think of it, offering their own opinion of the subject matter.

    I'm just saying, you know?

I'm not clicking on it. I just don't trust a low-post-count member who starts a thread with nothing but a link.

I'm not clicking, either. I'll only click a reputable news article.

It's also polite to at least add a quote from the link, to give some idea of what the article is about.

I almost never bother to follow a link unless there is an excerpt or review. The only exception might be when one of the key members says to take a look at something, but even then, I might not bother.

I clicked on it. It's a Yahoo news review.

    Yahoo!

    Here's the long link name.

    addendum
Weird. I put in the long link name and it was shortened in the message. Oh well. It is safe.

Oh get over it:confused: It's a link to a CNN news clip about another startup company with a hybrid vehicle concept. They modified a Saturn SUV to go 40 miles on all electric. Interesting concept, mostly similar to other PHEV stories I've read.

Yeah I noticed that's a new feature with this board. Unless you want a custom name for the link, it gives the title automatically!

As for 'not trusting' a one word link, just hover your cursor over it and look down to see what it is.
I like the plug-in 'VUE' prototype, I just wish they'd get more than just 40 miles out of it before switching over to the gas engine. I wonder if it's a set mileage number, that no matter how you drive, either hiway or city, at 40 miles the ICE kicks in, or if you watch how you drive you can go beyond that on just battery power alone? Hmmm...
