so true, so true... transition will happen, but not until every penny from every drop of oil is taken from us first.

the easy transition will not happen. not when conflicting reports stating a 150 year supply of oil exists.

 

Isn't it kinda pathetic to watch the human race procrastinate in exactly the same way as one individual human procrastinates? I'm four months overdue on some paperwork that is required in order to keep my job, in spite of my tenure. It's got a six month grace period in which delaying finishing it is free, and I have another year and a half after that, if I'm willing to pay $200/mo. It's maybe 20 pages of writing.

I'm not sure it'll get done by its February free deadline. And I can't force myself to do anything about it.

Stupid useless government hoop-jumping.

I'm worried about my procrastination. Hard to point the finger with SO many things still to be done on my part.

 

I don't see it as too hard; I can point the finger at "we" for not doing anything, and I'm well aware that "I" am a part of that "we" who are not doing what we should.
